Lace "Rags to Riches"

There are so many fairy tales about Rags-to-Riches where the story ends with someone being very successfull. We have created a Lace collection where you can turn your stunning lace designs into lace designs befitting Royalty. A true Rags-to-Riches outcome.

We provide the designs in ART, CSD, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES, SEW, VIP & XXX formats. All designs included in this collection are both lace & freestanding lace. They fit the 4 x 4 & 5 x 7 hoops.

"Rags to...

This design can be used as a corner, border as well as a edging all around your table cloth.

Stitched out in soft white & ivory colors to create an exquisite effect.

Here I created a cover for the sugar container.

These designs can be created with a stitch count as low as 9844 stitches.

Here I stitched out my "Mothers Day" gift on Tulle. This can be used as a decoration to cover your tea set.

... Riches"

I used metalic thread to embroider my lace designs on velvet. Here I played around with gold metalic thread on black Rayon thread.

By playing around with your designs you could end up using it as a center piece on your table, a container for a secret gift, a wrist handbag ...

...draped over the back or armrest of your couch...

... a clutch bag.

"Good morning Annemarie:  Okay now the cool stuff.... The blouse pattern that I used is Simplicity 5059. I made a clutch purse with the Rags to Riches design but I know I would not carry that bag for everyday wear so I used the designs to make a larger bag. The photos show the front and back view of the purse I made. I made my own pattern for the purse.  I just love how they came out and can't wait to make something awesome from the couture refined files. I love all of your designs and I'm also amazed with the things you come up with.... Thanks Annemarie, Your my inspiration, Pamela Barnett"  pugus2@yahoo.com    (Here's the finished outfit with a matching skirt and me on my way to my son's graduation.)

Here is a picture of the lace edge I did on napkins.  I used a two tone as suggested.  You cannot see it well in the picture, but I used irridescent white thread.  It adds a little to the design.  It stitched out so beautiful.  Thank you for creating such a wonderful set (yet again!).  Wishing you and yours all the best!
