Roman Classic Box 2

Use your "Roman Classic Box 2" for a beautiful decoration on your dresser or bedside table. But who says a decoration can't be practical as well?

Here we have used it as a tissue box or a jewelry box or you can stack them on top of each other as a decoration on its own.

Here you can see how much space you actually have in this box. This is for the 5x7 hoop.

Your box consists of a six-sided lid, decorated with a little scalloped lace edge and elegant curly designs, six side panels and a six-sided base panel. On completion of your box the inside will also be lined.

These are both the 4x4 & 5x7 designs.

Stitch out:

1 x base panel,

2x lid panels for the 5x7 hoop

or 6 x lid panels for the 4x4 hoop.

6 x side panels.

Basic applique techniques.

Kindly note that our applique box is neatly lined on the inside. (this step is included in the design)

Box:

With zig-zag stitch and invisible thread, sew the side panels to the base panel.

Lid:

With zig-zag stitch and invisible thread, sew the panels together.

Now "zig-zag" the side panels together. (side-to-side)
