A: What you need.
Fabric,
thin batting, velcro or press studs.
Hoop
1 layer of water-soluble stabilizer.

Stitch
first color. This will indicate where to place your
fabric.

your batting between 2 layers of material (as indicated
in the photo)
This
ensures a smooth finish to both front and back.
NB!
Use the same top & bottom thread.

sure fabric covers outline of design completely.

design free from stabilizer

not forget to cut out the little circle at the
top of the design.

the stitching.

remove the design from hoop.

Feel free
to wash out any stabilizer and carefully iron it.

towel to match the width of your design.

used a straight stitch to ensure it stays in this position.

Note:
Some towel toppers have a loop and buttonhole to enable
you to hang them from a rail. (stars, lavender &
days of the week collections)
Look
closely and you will see I added a little bell instead
of a normal button, just to make it more special.
