Cutwork Tutorial (click on pictures for enlarged view) |

1. You need: 2 x layers water-soluble stabilizer (hoop both perpendicular) 2. Embroidy thread 3. Embroidery scissors 4. Fabric, garment or item you would like to embroider on |
1. Once you hooped the 2 x layers water-soluble stabilizer, pin you fabric, garment or item to your hoop. (Remember you pins must be to the outside of the hoop - not in the stitchable area) 2. You are welcome to use adhesive spray securing your fabric to your hoop |

1. Notice the pins are not in the stitchable area |
1. Stitch the first color 2. Use your sharp scissors and carefully lift and snip the inside of the indicated areas |

1. Carefully cut away the fabric only 2. Do not cut the water-soluble stabilizer |
1. Do both indicated areas |

1. Once fabric has been succesfully been removed from the 2 x holes you can replace hoop in embroidery machine and finish the embroidery 2. Cut away all jump stitches from font and back of your design as this will ensure a neat and professional project |
1. You design should now be finished looking like this |

1. Remove hoop from embroidery machine 2. Remove pins and remove design from hoop |
1. Carefully cut away all excess water-soluble stabilizer |

1. Soak your project in tepid water washing away all traces of water-soluble stabilizer. 2. Soak in fabric softener if you desire |
1. The cutwork in your design will now be neat and visible 2. Dry and iron your project if you desire 3. Your project is finished and ready to be admired |
