Hi, Thanks for your reply, I made an insert that stood slightly above the top of the box area and it supports the lid when closed. I made the insert from stiff card and covered it in the lining fabric.Hope you like the photos. Many thanks,Pat HOME@stitches.freeserve.co.uk
